TrioProxy Privacy Policy


Trio Proxy, the owner of the Trio SDK, and the TrioProxy Data services. In this Privacy Policy you will find the types of information collected from users, the legal basis for processing that information, and how it is used. By accessing and using the Services or providing information to Trio Proxy in other formats, users agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to the terms and services of this Privacy Policy, please stop using the services immediately and uninstall where relevant.


The Services provided by TrioProxy Data include proxy services and data collector products and services. TrioProxy enables its customers to route traffic through its peers' available resources. Peers agree to share their available resources and become part of the TrioProxy network in return for free features, an ads-free app, and other benefits.


TrioProxy collects two types of data from users: Non-Personal Information and Personal Information. Non-Personal Information cannot be used to identify the user from which that data was collected and includes aggregated usage information and technical information transmitted by the user's device. Personal Information is information that identifies or may identify the user. The only Personal Information collected and retained by Trio Proxy is the user's IP address, which is necessary to provide the Service.


The legal basis for processing Personal Information is necessary for the performance of TrioProxy's contractual obligations towards the user, to protect its legitimate interests and to comply with its legal obligations. TrioProxy may use the information collected to provide its Services, detect and prevent illegal activity, perform analysis and research to improve the Service, and for other purposes.


Trio Proxy does not rent, sell, or share Personal Information with third parties except as described in this Privacy Policy. Trio Proxy may transfer or disclose Personal Information to its subsidiaries, affiliated companies, subcontractors, or other trusted third-party service providers or partners, located in different jurisdictions across the world, for the purpose of storing or processing such information on TrioProxy's behalf or to assist with its business operations, among other purposes. Also, to perform research, technical diagnostic or statistical purposes.

For the purpose of the California Consumer Privacy Act, Cal. Civ. Code §§ 1798.100 et seq. (“CCPA”), we must disclose the categories of Personal Information we have shared for business purposes in the preceding 12 months. It's important to note that we haven't sold Your Personal Information during this time. However, we may disclose Your Personal Information and other information in certain situations. These include complying with law, regulations, subpoenas or court orders; addressing fraud, security, violation of policies or technical issues; enforcing provisions of this Privacy Policy or any other agreements between us and you, including investigating potential violations thereof; and protecting against harm to our rights, property or safety, partners, affiliates, users, or the public.


TrioProxy uses industry-standard security tools and measures, as well as internal procedures and strict guidelines, to prevent information misuse and data leakage. We measure and procedure that substantially reduce the risks of data misuse but cannot guarantee that its systems will be absolutely safe. If you notice any potential data breach, you should contact us immediately. In that case, we will use all measures, including preventive measures, as required for investigation purposes. As we operate globally, such measures may involve transferring your Personal Information to other worldwide countries. We will ensure a high level of protection through adequate legal mechanisms, in accordance with the GDPR.


We respect your privacy and want you to feel in control of your personal information. Users may notify Trio Proxy that they wish to review, edit or delete their Personal Information. You may also choose to opt out of any data collection by us or any third party at any time. Additionally, EU residents have specific rights regarding their personal information, including the right to receive confirmation as to whether or not Personal Information concerning them is being processed, to access stored Personal Information, to rectify Personal Information that is in Trio Proxy's control, to request erasure of Personal Information, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Please note that these rights may be limited by our own interests or regulatory requirements.

As of January 1st, 2020, the CCPA grants California residents the right to exercise their data privacy rights without fear of discrimination. We will not deny you access to goods or services, charge different rates, or reduce the quality of services based on your data privacy choices, unless permitted by law. If you are a California resident, you may also request a list of personal information categories that we have disclosed to third parties, and the detail of such third parties.

 

TrioProxy retains Personal Information for the duration required to provide its Service, as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce its policies. It may rectify, replenish, or remove incomplete or inaccurate information at any time and at its own discretion.

In the event of a change of ownership or control of all or part of TrioProxy, including without limitation through acquisition, merger, or sale, Trio Proxy reserves the right to transfer all or part of the Personal Information it stores in its systems.


TrioProxy may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time at its sole discretion, and any changes will be updated accordingly. Users who continued use of the Services following any such changes will be considered as consent to the amended Privacy Policy.
